Tiffany and Tim had the most beautiful wedding day filled with so much love, laughter, and fun. As corny as it sounds, that’s exactly how their day was. It was important to both Tim and Tiffany that they incorporate not only the things that they enjoy but a bit of their culture as well, which we loved! We are always encouraging our couples to step outside the box and make their wedding completely unique to them and their love story. Lego centerpieces, Chinese door games, and a first dance serenade are some of the many beautiful things that happened during this dreamy fall wedding at the Rivercrest Golf Club. I can’t wait to share more about it!
Tiffany and Tim got married at the Rivercrest Golf Club & Preserve in Phoenixville, PA. While this may look like an ordinary golf course, for your wedding day it is so much more than that. Not only is the Rivercrest Golf Club newly renovated, but they also offer all their couples a unique wedding experience. They offer a personalized wedding experience and pride themselves on giving you the dream wedding that you have always wanted. As we mentioned before, what mattered most to Tim and Tiffany was having a wedding day that was completely unique to them and their love story. Both Tim and Tiffany enjoy playing games together, so their entire wedding day was centered around games to make their day light-hearted and fun. Both Tim and Tiffany spent the morning getting ready before it was time for them to meet for their first look. Since we had some time before the ceremony, after their first look we were able to wander throughout the Rivercrest Golf Club and take some beautiful portraits. The weather was absolutely perfect on this day and it was the best way to explore the venue and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
It wasn’t long though until it was time for us to all meet back up with the wedding party for some good ol’ fashion Chinese door games. Chinese door games are a tradition where the bridesmaids set up challenges for the groom to demonstrate his love for the bride. Definitely can say I haven’t seen that before, but I loved every minute of it! These games are usually played prior to the ceremony, so that’s what we did. I can for sure say that playing games on your wedding day should most definitely be a requirement after witnessing it on Tim and Tiffany’s day.
After professing his love to his beautiful bride-to-be, it almost was as if time flew by. The ceremony was going to start soon and we needed to get everybody ready for the big moment! I mean, this was what we were all waiting for! The ceremony was held in a sheltered outdoor pavilion attached to the Rivercrest Golf Club. Surrounded by all of their friends and family, Tim and Tiffany exchanged their vows and said I do. Tearing up as I’m writing this, but these moments always get me!
If you thought that was the end of the fun, you’re wrong! The reception space was open shortly after the ceremony and I was amazed by how much detail went into the decor. Tim and Tiffany both share a love for lego building and Harry Potter, so their centerpieces at each table were lego replicas of Harry Potter characters and moments! It was the perfect and subtle way to incorporate their love for something, without it overtaking their entire wedding day. Admiring all of the amazing work that went into this beautiful day was easy, and before we knew it Tim and Tiffany were walking in as the newlyweds!
Tim and Tiffany took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife. While it may look like your typical first dance, Tim had a surprise up his sleeve. Tim had chosen to serenade Tiffany on the dance floor with his cover of “All of Me” by John Legend. This moment was so precious and emotional and left many guests (including myself) teary-eyed. It was the most thoughtful moment between the two of them and really just proved how much love and passion they both have for each other. THIS is why I do what I do. To capture moments like this.
The rest of their wedding night was spent on the dance floor and eating some really good cake. Cheers to Tim and Tiffany and wishing you both a lifetime of happiness!
