Nothing warms my heart more than couples who give AKP the opportunity to document their wedding day. It makes it 10x more special when they are dear friends and boy, did they go all out. Sarah and Vince are dear friends of mine so when they inquired with AKP to document their wedding, I was touched. AKP’s associate photographer, Jess, was able to document Sarah and Vince’s Franklin Institute Philadelphia Wedding so beautifully. Underneath the stars, these two lovers exchanged their vows and it was perfect in every way.

Sarah & Vince’s Franklin Institute Philadelphia Wedding

Sarah and Vince are the kind of people that are beautiful, inside and out. Knowing this, I knew that their wedding day would be filled with beautiful intentions and detail. Both Sarah and Vince spent their morning getting ready at The Logan Philadelphia Hotel. After experiencing some of the most touching moments during Sarah’s first look with her dad and bridesmaids it was time for the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. to meet.

For their first look and portraits, Sarah, Vince, and the AKP team headed to The Rodin Museum. For sure a standout location here in Philadelphia and a great backdrop for portraits. It was here that we took some beautiful photos of the two of them before making our way to The Franklin Institute for their ceremony!

Underneath the twinkling of stars and moon, Sarah and Vince stood there at the altar. In front of their friends and family, and a fun fact we were there too, Sarah and Vince unfolded their love for all of us to witness. It really was beautiful and felt like something straight out of a movie.

The reception space was just as beautiful as the Planetarium. Large and grand and absolutely exquisite and spoke to Sarah and Vince’s personalities perfectly. In came their grand entrance and it was utter bliss. Everyone began dancing and celebrating and cheering. Getting to witness my friends have such deep love always brings me joy. It brings me the same joy knowing that AKP was able to properly document their day and give them memories to cherish forever.
