Chic Winter Wedding at The Booking House

Alyssa and Dan’s chic winter wedding at The Booking House was the perfect way to ring in the New Year. Fun fact, I actually was a bridesmaid for this wedding! So thanks to the help of the amazing AKP team, I was able to witness the love from two different perspectives. It was a beautiful way to witness my dear friends get married and I am so excited to be sharing it today!

Chic Pennsylvania Wedding Venue – The Booking House

The Booking House is one of those event spaces that bring together those urban industrial feels with a modern touch. Established back in the late 1800s the Booking House used to be an old cigar warehouse. Since its original construction, it has been renovated and transformed into one of Pennsylvania’s most unique wedding venues. If you’re someone who values that blend of historic and modern features then the Booking House is right up your alley.

For your wedding, The Booking House creates a seamless, unique, and personalized experience for all of its couples. Their goal is to make sure you have the most magical and special day and celebrate it the way that you want it! They do this with impeccable service, but also with the amazing amenities that they offer for their couples. Some of those amenities are:

  • Private access to the entire building on your wedding day
  • Ceremony rehearsal
  • On-site parking attendants
  • Tables, chairs, carts, and seating rentals are available
  • Open dance floor
  • Outdoor photo locations

With all of these amenities that they offer on your wedding day, The Booking House truly emulates superb service and a stunning backdrop for any wedding day. You can read more about weddings hosted at The Booking House here!

Chic Winter Wedding at The Booking House

As soon as the AKP team arrived, they got to work. Thankfully, The Booking House offers getting ready spaces for both the bride and groom which made it super convenient and accessible. That morning was spent enjoying the slow getting ready process and really soaking in the time with one another. Being on the other end of it made it such a surreal and amazing experience and I loved every minute of it.

Winter Wedding Portraits & Inspiration

If I’m being frank, winter weddings do not get enough praise. They are not only more cost-effective, but you are able to really play with the “cozy & warm” theme which who doesn’t love that, right? For Alyssa & Dan’s winter wedding, they stuck to a color palette surrounded rich burgundy reds, neutral nudes and blush tones and greenery. It tied in with their details, florals, and decor so perfectly. After getting ready, Alyssa and Dan had a precious first look moment before bracing themselves for the cold winter breeze. They went along with the AKP team around the venue taking their portraits, because even though it was cold you do anything for the perfect shot. You may notice some photos of them on the train tracks as well which keep in mind they are not currently running. Please do not attempt to take photos on train tracks that are currently active.

Emotional Unplugged Ceremony, Sweet Treats and Busting Moves

Alyssa and Dan’s wedding day was surrounded by an outpouring amount of love from friends and family. From the emotional moments of their unplugged ceremony to a bust down dance floor at their reception, it was perfect. The decor and detail that went into making The Booking House space perfect for their wedding was absolutely incredibly. Oh, and let’s not forget the endless amounts of sweet treats they had for their guests. Alyssa’s Mom and family spent countless hours creating hundreds of cookies for the traditional Pittsburgh Cookie Table. May have snuck in one too many but you know what? You only live once 😛

It was a beautiful day celebrating Alyssa and Dan’s Chic Winter Wedding at The Booking House and I am so honored to not only have been apart of such a beautiful day, but get to have the AKP team capture it as well.
